You see, this data growth breaks everything. It makes managing the sheer volume of data extraordinarily difficult. Data center operations can’t keep pace with it, so many processes remain manual. This puts many data centers in crisis mode.

And where automation has occurred, it hasn’t happened in the same way, resulting in “islands of automation” that don’t work together. There’s no sharing. It makes things more complex. And it results in underutilized storage, which is highly inefficient.

All of this is very problematic and quite limiting, and it can be attributed to one simple, indisputable fact that even our most innovative technological advancements can’t change:
