“The future belongs to those who are first to harness the power of data,” said Antonio Neri, President and CEO, HPE. “Today, customers leverage HPE edge centric, cloud enabled and data driven solutions to harness the power of that data to bring insights and innovation across their distributed enterprise. The combination of HPE software defined compute, storage, networking, security services with Pensando technology will equip HPE’s customers with ways to act fast on a continuous stream of data that grows richer every day.”
When Pensando came out of stealth in October 2019, besides launching the company and our first products, we announced a Series C investment round which was led by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. While in many cases these are purely speculative investments, HPE made it very clear from the start that they were interested in more – an innovation partner.
Today we announced the next major step forward in our joint partnership with the availability of the Pensando Distributed Services Platform (DSP) as an option on a number of HPE Infrastructure platforms. If you’re interested in reading more about the announcement you can see the press release here. For those of you that are just interested in platform specifics, we’ll cover those below.
Which Platforms Are Currently Supported?
Today, select HPE ProLiant, HPE Apollo, and HPE Edgeline in addition to availability through HPE GreenLake, HPE’s market-leading as-a-service platform.
What Does This Mean For HPE Customers?
HPE customers can now order truly integrated Distributed Services Platforms based on the industry-leading servers and backed by single-call HPE hardware and software support, all with a single purchase order. Talk to your account manager or HPE channel partner. Alternatively you can just go to the HPE Online Store.
Who Will Support These Products?
