Cloud Field Day 7 Delegate Family Photo

We were very fortunate to recently have the opportunity to present at Cloud Field Day 7.  For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, Cloud Field Days bring together key thought leaders in the enterprise cloud space to discuss pressing issues and technology advancements.  The fact that they do this with key companies and cloud providers makes for some great conversation.  Cloud Field Days have been operating since 2016 emerging organically from Tech Field Days.

This event was unusual in that although normally hosted at the presenting company offices, ongoing issues related to COVID-19 resulted in this session being run virtually.  The combination of some of the Pensando Leadership team presenting to a group of 12 delegates who asked questions throughout (as well as injecting questions from twitter) resulted in some really good feedback.  We’ve added links to the individual presentations below.

Overall both the delegates and the Pensando team seemed to enjoy the presentations and it’s definitely something we’ll do again – we’re already scheduled to participate in the upcoming Storage Field Day!

In this session Vipin Jain demonstates the core capabilies of the Pensando Policy & Services Manager(PSM). The PSM enables seamless distribution of all infrastructure services policies across the entire DSP-enabled infrastructure. In addition it handles lifecycle management such as deploying in-service software upgrades, delivers always-on telemetry, deep end-to-end observability, and operational simplicity.
