{"id":3044,"date":"2022-04-25T16:19:35","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T16:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pensando.io\/?p=3044"},"modified":"2022-04-26T21:30:10","modified_gmt":"2022-04-26T21:30:10","slug":"pensando-at-onug-spring-2022-gartner-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/share.mahalodigital.com\/Pensando\/pensando-at-onug-spring-2022-gartner-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Pensando at ONUG Spring 2022; Gartner Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve got two opportunities for you to learn more about what&#8217;s going on with Pensando.<\/p>\n<h3>Gartner\u00ae <em>Hype Cycle\u2122 for Enterprise Networking<\/em><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this report, Gartner recognizes Pensando as one of their \u201cSample Vendors\u201d for function accelerator cards (FACs), also known as NextGen SmartNICs or data processing units (DPUs).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gartner categorizes function accelerators as &#8220;transformational\u201d, improving server performance as much as 50% by offloading critical network functions, freeing resources for more workloads and eliminating the need for dedicated appliances.
